Superintendent Search

On Monday night, March 9, 2026,the School Board voted to suspend the current superintendent search and enter into negotiations with Dr. Neubeck, the Interim Superintendent. Last week, the Board received six applications for the position. After reviewing the candidates and using the information from the community survey, it was determined that Dr. Neubeck was the clear choice for JCC moving forward. By suspending the search at this time, the district fee for MSBA is $6400 and not the $11,900 that would have been the fee if the entire search had been completed per Chair Betty Hargan. More updates will be provided as they become available.
